Jolanda and Renata Hiršl
Jolanda (Jolanka), the eighth child, and the youngest, Renata (or Rene, as they used to call her) were both engaged but never married in the time of war. They lived at her brother Mirko’s and worked in his shop in Martjanci. They were both deported to Auschwitz, where first Jolanda died, and just days before liberation, also Renata.
