The Centre for interdisciplinary research published Marjan Toš’s monograph Zgodovinski spomin na prekmurske Jude (Historical memory of the Prekmurje Jews). The study investigates the historical aspect of Jewish presence in Prekmurje (and Slovenia) tracing it from the latter Middle Ages, through modern anti-Semitism and the to the analysis of the long-term consequences of the WWII deportation to Nazi extermination camps. Toš discusses the erosion of memory of the Jewish community and overall inappropriate treatment of memorial landscape and manages to outline a comprehensive illustration of life in the Prekmurje region.
